Control#

  1. To turn on the RF remote control, press any button on the remote control and wait for the red LED to light up in the upper right corner.

  2. The glow of the red LED indicates that the remote control is on and can be used in the usual way.

  3. Pressing a button and transmitting the code to the device is signaled by the flashing of the red LED.

  4. The remote control will automatically turn off after one minute of inactivity.

Pairing to a device#

To add a new RF remote control, it is necessary to ensure direct visibility between the remote control and the display. Pairing of the RF remote control is initiated by transmitting a signal using an infrared (IR) transmitter located at the front of the RF remote control.

Procedure:

  1. Aim the remote control at the display and verify its proper function and range (e.g., by pressing the MENU key followed by the ESC key - the adjustment menu should appear on the display with subsequent return to the original view).

  2. Press and hold the F8 key. After five seconds, the display will show the menu twice in a row, transitioning back to the original view. This indicates entry into pairing mode, which the display will maintain for 30 seconds.

  3. To pair, press any key except the F8 and F9 keys. The display will show the menu three times with a transition.

Note

By this procedure, the previously assigned remote control is removed and replaced with a new one. To assign multiple RF remote controls to the display, please follow the procedure outlined in the next chapter, “Assigning Additional Remotes.”

Cloning#

The receiver in the display unit stores only the memory of the last assigned remote control. Adding additional RF remote controls operates on the principle of cloning controllers. This means that the first RF remote control is assigned to the display, and copies of the first one are created from the subsequent controllers.

Procedure:

  1. Turn on the RF remote control you want to assign.

  2. Press and hold the F9 key until the red LED starts flashing on the remote control. The flashing indicates a state of waiting for a signal from an already assigned remote control. This state is active for 30 seconds.

  3. Turn on the already assigned RF remote control and press any key except the F8 and F9 keys. The LED on the unassigned remote control will stop flashing and remain lit. This completes the cloning process, and the remotes now have identical identifiers. Any of these remotes can be used to add another remote control.

Removing a Controller#

Removing a controller is done by generating a new identifier for the controller. The procedure for generating a new identifier is as follows:

  1. Turn on the RF remote control you want to remove.

  2. Press and hold the F9 key until the red LED starts flashing on the remote control. This state is active for 30 seconds.

  3. Press the F8 key. The LED will stop flashing and remain lit. The remote control now has a new identifier and is not assigned to any display.
