External Button Input Active Level#
These settings configure the active logic level of each external button input independently.
By default, an external button event is triggered by a logic low (LOG0) signal, corresponding to an active‑low, contact‑close input. Each input can be individually configured to operate in logic high (LOG1) mode, corresponding to an active‑high, contact‑open or permanent level signal.
This allows both external button inputs to operate simultaneously with different active levels (for example, input 1 active‑high and input 2 active‑low).
When an input is configured for active‑high operation, it is treated as a level‑based signal rather than an edge‑triggered event. Button events from inputs configured as active‑high are processed only on the stopwatch screen. During screen navigation and menu operation, these inputs are ignored to prevent unintended menu navigation caused by a permanent external signal.
