Double sided#

DSC.100 – DSC.320#

  1. The double sided clock consists of the displaying part (SLAVE), control part (MASTER) and the wall bracket mounting console, both parts are linked via one cable.

  2. The clock is delivered as a one unit (both parts are mounted on the console).

  3. If the console has the bottom cover, remove it (5x M4 screw) first, bottom cover is attached to the console by steel wire (captive cover).

  4. Unscrew locking screws and put clock parts into fully tilted out positions.

  5. Dismantle the back connector cover on the MASTER part, the cover incorporates gap with sealing for passage of cables into the clock.

  6. Disconnect the MASTERSLAVE connecting cable.

  7. Release four Allen screws on back side of the clocks and take out the both clock parts from the console.

  8. Drill appropriate number of anchoring holes in the wall for wood‑type screws of 10‑12 mm diameter. Use the mounting console as a template.

  9. Push all incoming cables (power, temperature, synchronization) through the upper tube of the console and through the oval hole, then mount the console on the wall.

  10. Put both sides into a fully tilted out positions.

  11. Hang the SLAVE part on one side of the console and tighten the four screws on the back side of the clock part.

  12. Hang the MASTER part on opposite side of the console and tighten the four screws on the back side of the clock part.

  13. Connect the MASTERSLAVE cable.

  14. Arrange all incoming cables to appropriate length and connect them to the appropriate terminals on the PCB. See the description of the connectors.

    Caution

Observe the correct polarity where necessary.

    Caution

For LGC variant, configure the position of DIP switch according to used synchronization signal (applies only for DCF, MOBALine, polarized impulse line or IRIG‑B).

Navigate to Clock Operation chapter > Non-Network Clock Operation chapter to get detailed info about connection of various synchronization sources and receivers.

  15. Fix the cables with the holder in correct positions on order to maintain regular spacing between the cables in the area of passing through sealing. Use appropriate force to not to damage the cables insulation.

  16. Mount back the connector cover.

  17. Tilt the clock parts into vertical position and fix them by locking screws.

  18. Mount back the bottom cover if delivered.
